This slogan conveys the NORMEC
company philosophy perfectly. We have been a key
market player since 1963, since NORMEC was
founded in Turin, traditionally the capital of
the Italian engineering industry. NORMEC soon
became a competitive presence in the precision
mechanics sector, and over 40 years’ experience
in this sector reflects our know-how but also
our constant commitment to research and
development: the guarantee of a modern company
which dedicates great attention to the market
and over the years has learned to listen to its
clients in order to respond to the demands of
the market. This is the concept we base our work
on, engaging with the market every day, playing
the field. At the end of the 1960’s NORMEC
identified a specific sector of mechanics to
focus on: equipment for oil and food tankers.
NORMEC then began to study, design and produce
its own products, with its own distinctive brand
and quality.

throughout Italy, and around 70% of its production is exported worldwide. The
company’s registered offices and production plant are based in Italy, in the
heart of the manufacturing area of Piedmont, in the small industrious town of

NORMEC devotes constant attention to the evolution of production
techniques in order to fulfil the needs of the globalised world market. Product
innovations continue, with the complete aluminium and stainless steel ranges. A
complete range of products which is constructed in compliance with EN ( European
Norm ) standards, and has passed exacting reliability and endurance tests,
guaranteeing a higher level of safety for the product itself. We have received
accreditation from bodies such as Bureau Veritas, CSI, Istituto Italiano
Saldature, TUV, which certifies the entire quality system in line
with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. NORMEC products are patented and in the countries
where it is required, they have been approved and accredited under local
legislation. |
